Tottenham fans not interested in club signing Watford pair

Tottenham Hotspur will end yet another season without a trophy, meaning that it has been a decade since the North London club scooped silverware.

The 2018-19 campaign will be an important one for Spurs as they will be competing in their new stadium for the first time.

Since Mauricio Pochettino arrived as manager in 2014, the team has gone from strength to strength, but they are yet to take that next step.

In order to do so, the club will need to bring in some fresh faces to compete with the spending power of Manchester City and Manchester United.

Two rumoured targets have been Watford pair Abdoulaye Doucoure and Richarlison, both of whom play in midfield.

Football.london gave their assessment of the duo during Monday night’s 2-0 victory for Spurs over the Hornets at Wembley.

Both have qualities that could warrant them transfers in the summer, but whether Tottenham will be the destination remains to be seen.

The question was posed to fans on Twitter, and it seems that the majority are not keen on either Doucoure or Richarlison signing on the dotted line.
