Southampton fans want Jake Hesketh back at club

[ad_pod ]

Jake Hesketh came through the youth system at Southampton, before making his first-team debut for the club in December 2014 against Manchester United.

A talented attacking midfielder, Hesketh has scored once in four appearances for Southampton, but has not turned out for the club since the 2016-17 campaign.

Indeed, Hesketh is currently on loan at Burton Albion, and it would be fair to say that he is making a real impression with the League One outfit.

The 22-year-old is already off the mark in terms of goals for Burton in the league, and has certainly shown his quality since arriving at the third-tier club.

It remains to be seen whether Hesketh can forge a career at Southampton, but the Saints are not exactly flying at the moment, and are lacking creativity from midfield.

The Southampton fans have been reacting to Hesketh’s latest impressive performance against Coventry, and many want him back at St Mary’s.
